Wearable coverage keeps a towel around your dog’s body during supervised drying time. Explore four shapes and fabrics, and choose the fit that suits your dog.
Keep a dedicated towel ready for baths and wet walks. Wash according to its care label, dry thoroughly between uses, and bring it out for the next adventure.
Choose a comfortable fit. Coverage and drying results depend on the style, coat and how you use it.
A SIMPLE AFTER-BATH ROUTINE
Press a clean towel gently against the coat rather than rubbing hard.
Check the fit and supervise your dog. Take the wrap off if they seem uncomfortable or it becomes damp.
Remove the wrap, check paws and skin folds, and make sure your dog dries fully. Use another dry towel if needed.

PAWS, COAT & THE FLOOR BELOW
A towel helps remove water. Make it part of a little after-walk routine: paws first, a dry floor, then a comfortable place to finish drying.
Wet paws can leave water on smooth floors. Blot each paw and between the toes, wipe up puddles and use a non-slip mat. Dogs with arthritis are especially vulnerable to slips and further injury. A body wrap doesn’t dry paws or provide grip.
Moisture can linger in skin folds and between toes. In dogs with allergies or other health conditions, prolonged damp fur can contribute to yeast infections. Check these spots, dry gently and swap a damp towel for a dry one.
Keep your dog indoors in a comfortably warm, dry space while they finish drying. Stay close, check the coat underneath and remove the wrap after use. Puppies, older dogs and thin-coated dogs can be more sensitive to cold.
Respiratory illnesses such as kennel cough are infectious; a towel doesn’t prevent or treat them. Drying supports grooming and comfort, but these wraps are not medical products and we have no evidence that they prevent injuries, skin disease or lower vet bills.
If your dog is limping, has sore or itchy skin, or develops a cough, contact your vet rather than relying on a towel.
Virginia Tech explains why gentle, complete drying matters, particularly around skin folds and toes. PDSA recommends drying dogs after wet walks and using grippy surfaces for dogs with arthritis. Cornell explains cold sensitivity and infectious respiratory illness.

A regular towel can remove excess water too. A wrap adds wearable body coverage and a fastening, so you can keep the towel around your dog while you supervise. Choose the shape and fit that suit your dog; we don’t claim it absorbs more than every household towel.
It is a drying accessory, not a medical treatment. We have no evidence that these wraps prevent illness or reduce vet bills. Thorough drying is part of general grooming care; if your dog has itching, redness, an unusual smell or a skin condition, ask your vet for advice.
There is no fixed drying time: coat thickness, how wet your dog is, fit and room conditions all matter. Stay with your dog, check the coat, and remove the wrap if it becomes damp or your dog seems uncomfortable. Make sure the coat dries fully.
Measure your dog and compare the guide for the exact style. Size letters differ between towels.
